The Challenge
Tax and accounting software has a long product life, strict correctness expectations and many interconnected workflows. The engineering platform has to support day-to-day product delivery without allowing the frontend, APIs and deployment pipelines to drift apart.
My Role
I lead frontend architecture across a React and TypeScript micro-frontend estate, contribute to .NET services, and support cloud delivery through AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Technical Decisions
- Shared component and design-system standards across product modules.
- TypeScript and testing conventions for maintainable frontend delivery.
- Micro-frontend boundaries where independent teams need delivery autonomy.
- CI/CD workflows that keep quality checks close to the change.
